Woodford Reserve for mint juleps once a year to watch the sailboat race on the river then the running of the derby.

Fireball BBQ sauce sounds interesting.

Two words:

Maker's Mark.

Nuff said.
Was with some guys and we did a bunch of blind taste test with some wheated bourbons. One was MM. When we tried it neat...pretty much everyone thought is was pretty harsh. Then we added just a few drops of water and it changed it so much it was everyone's favorite.

You just opened a can of worms LOL :) highland or lowlands?...over the last 30 years I’m still trying different single malts..it has always been an enquired taste to get used to Scotch...or good top shelf Burbon...like XB IGO says he doesn’t like Burbon...in time he will probably like it...when he gets older..Back to Scotch I started out with Glenlivet...but have moved on since... :eusa-popcorn:

Yep, cool trick. Scotch does the same thing, brings life and enhances everything.

Funny the MM and Wild Turkey 101 are some of the best but at a budget price.
Although I really like Woodford, Four Roses can be found at my house often.

I have a bottle of Knob Creek I keep around in case I need to pull a round cast bullet from someone's lung some day.

What's your favorite Scotch?
I have been a fan of this long before Ron Swanson was, but the fact that the best Sitcom character ever drinks it only makes it better:

Add this to mix and now you are on the verge of greatness:

Oh yeah. Lagavulin 16 is my favorite too. I have some Lagavulin 8 at my house right now and it's pretty good but it's not 16. Also have some Irish peated whiskey called Connemara which is nice, and Laphroaig, and a few others...along with Basil Haydn's, Tullemore DEW, Woodsford (hate it), Larceny...my wife likes bourbon but doesn't drink it as often as me.
