Bulldog 440

Post by Onetimeonly x--> »

Are the arrows/bolts 18" stock? For those who shoot the higher poundage bows how do you think a fixed blade is gonna shoot or group with that kinda speed? That is having a good combination FOC and all, I'm a fixed blade shooter. Thanks...

Eighteen inches is stock. There are no issues with broadheads. I shot my 405 at 50 yards with G5 Strikers and got about an inch. With G5 Striker Magnums (1.5") the grouping was less than 2 inches. I used stock BEA Executioners and I aligned the broadheads.

Thanks Don, I'm shooting the same as you stated, good to know. A few reviews on the bow and who knows...

I have no experience shooting at that speed or really past 40yard. But from what I saw the workmanship on the new arrows coming from BE was top notch. I did notice that on the display the arrows were head and shoulder over the Easton offerings as well as factory zombies I've purchased. Also the helical was much more aggressive. Very similar to what the EZ Fletch Bolt produces.

I wonder what kind of speed the BD440 would get with a 400gr arrow. And no I'm not buying one to shoot it through a chronograph! Lol
