Turkeys!
I'm not sure about you guys but I've been day dreaming about the up and coming turkey season. Anyways, I ran into this video for those who haven't hunted them before.

Re: Turkeys!
Do turkeys live all the up in Canada?
Do their feathers turn white in the winter, like the rabbits’ fur?

Re: Turkeys!
Some areas. Not too many here on Van Isle... And most of those are behind someone's fence!
Only the ones that hide out in our Igloos...Do their feathers turn white in the winter, like the rabbits’ fur?
Cheers,
Nog

A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Sounds like you really enjoy turkey hunting, they are definitely fun to hunt.
Good luck on all the tags!
Re: Turkeys!
Wow, SIX states—that’s hardcore!
I tried hunting turkeys twice, with no success.
I truly don’t understand how their pea-sized brains work. Deer make sense to me (most of the time). Turkeys, not at all.

It's a good thing turkey's can't smell, or we would never kill them.

The single biggest mistake people make hunting turkeys is not respecting their ability to see movement.
