I suggest you get one from the maker who strings are "second to none" and are rare and hard to obtain.

I'm interested to see the speed with a 400gr hunting arrow.
My BD440, with the stock string and 410 gr arrow shot 424 FPS.
With the stock 350 gr arrow, it shot 447 FPS.
That's using a ProChrono Digital.

Now I'm just waiting for my Custom Boo String...

Any reports on how the 440s are shooting I’ve been trying to find one of them or the new 420 at Cabela’s or Field & Stream so I can shoot em and they have yet to get any in so far I’d kinda like to shoot em before I buy one. Thanks for any reports on either bow.

Jeff, I am getting 448.0 ft/sec with a 353 gr arra and the stock string. With a 400.5 gr arra I am getting 426.6 ft/sec.
Trigger breaks at 3 lb 6 oz. There is a bit of travel before breaking. To me, this is perfect.

Jeff, you must have one of these fire breathing dragons!
