G5 deadmeat

Post by mchurch »

Has anyone used the g5 deadmeat crossbow version from an excalibur assassin or other similar pound pull excalibur? I'm not sure if they will blow open on release

I shot them no issues with a m 355. Didnt think they were as tough as an xact cut.
I have come to the conclusion that the xact cut is the most bullit proof expandable broadhead for our excalibur bows. Them things simply do not open up with even the fastest excalibur bows yet open up perfectly with a low powered bow also. A 1and7/16 cut just shy of a deadmeat.you can put a dental band on em if you must but l dont think you must even with a 405.
I loved the spitfires but the xacts are just plain built better with a more positive blade lock.
Kind of pricey but made in the USA
