Crank club

Post by Carnivorous »

Going to join the crank club for a while. Too many years sitting at the desk has not been kind to my wrist!

Hopefully the physio and rest will get me back to using my rope cocker come hunting season.

Sucks getting old! Lol

I hear today that there are approximately 8000 people in Canada over 100 years old (probably because we don't have Bob Evans up here). That's up 40% since 2011 census.

That number is going to multiply 5 fold by 2050.

There is a strong chance Jeff, that you are not even half way yet. Water consumptions, eating, exercising and sleep are all contributing factors to making 100.

That's a lot of bows with cranks on them buddy.

Jeff, are you complaining or bragging? At 50, you are well beyond what mother nature had intended. So just feel fortunate that you've cracked the half century mark! Try being my age (65 going on 66). Now that really sucks th big one!😱

I’m 62 and a small framed person. I really didn’t realize how much strength it takes to cock a Micro 355. But I decided to get the Cabela’s Micro 355 package that came with the C2 crank........best uniformed thing I ever did lol. I don’t live anywhere near a shop where I could try out a Xbow. I really like the micro so far. I’ll be using the crank more than the rope cocking aid.

CRANK ON!

Just like having shot lower poundage vertical bows would have been easier on many former vbow shooters, using a crank will likely be easier on our delicate backs.
