Happy CANADA day from sunny southern Ontario! :)

A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Wow, that Ontario pool water looks to be ice-free! Summer must have come a little early this year! ;)

So what is “Canada Day”, exactly?

Otherwise known as my dad's 88th birthday, it is celebrated all across Canada with parties and fireworks. My birthday is never celebrated like that.

My Parents celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary On Monday Canada Day July 1st 2019. Dad is 86, mom 83. Very blessed to still have my parents around. We had 4 generations at the table Monday!
