The county I live in has a public park with an archery range about 15 minutes from my house.
The only problem is that the local archery club has an agreement with the county that if they maintain the range they can use it for their events.
That is the only time it is closed to the public, but they have to post their events two weeks prior at the range before they can close it.
They have been getting better about this since our last run in...and there have been many. They tried to run me off the range for an event that wasn’t posted. I refused to leave and reported them to the parks and recreation director. They are not crossbow friendly and needless to say after that I don’t think they like me. I’m beyond trying to get along with them and pretty much give them the middle finger every time we cross paths.

20 yards in my back yard. Beyond that I go to a farm about 5min from home..
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Back yard I’m good for up to 30 yard shots anything further I go up to my sons place 10 minutes away and it’s whatever distance I need.

I shoot in my back yard up to 30 yards .
I can shoot in the woods behind my house as far as I like but almost all of my practice shots are 30 yards with broad heads in the back yard.

If I can't wait for the weekend when I can go to our cabin (40 minute drive)...
I have a rag target I set up in my back yard and shoot from my deck towards the woods which is 40 yards from my deck.

I drive 10 minutes out to the local archery range. They have an elevated platform, 15 up in the air. There is a 3D course as well. You can bow hunt there too; walk in only. I have been known to shoot groundhogs in my backyard off the deck though.

At the old place before we downsized- out the back door. Now i can go to #1 son's place 1.5 miles away and shoot in his backyard (helpful dog stays in the kennel!) but usually i go to his hunting land about 10 miles away. i should probably head out there today to put our last food plot in. the week sounds rainy, hot, & muggy here after today.

28 foot range upstairs in my house which is mainly used for pellet guns. 30 yard archery range in backyard. Ten minute drive to club with 20 station 3D coarse and a practise archery range.

Life is good after recovering from a broken shoulder is why I got into pellet guns 2 1/2 years ago. Back shooting compound bow as of last week. Been a long haul with shoulder.

Out the door beside me. I shoot off my deck and have about 225 yards I could shoot if I wanted to. I live inside the city limits so no guns supposed to be shot.

.....If I shot along side my house I would have a 40 yard shot.....except my neighbor where I would be shooting would be all over me like "stink on you know what"....have a police officer on the other side and an air marshal across the street I would be in cuffs before you could say, "Excalibur!"

20 yards to my new range from garage, to 50 yard marker, we had a small lake put in last year so I have a big pile of dirt for backstop. I can stretch it out to 150 yards if I need to, just keep backing down the driveway
