….about 11 feet from where we keep it. We leave the target set up so I just pick up the bow, step out the back door and poof.....

Crossbows are dangerous enough that I think it is appropriate to regulate where you can shoot them in more densely populated areas (like cities and most suburbs). I'm fortunate to own a farm where I can walk out of the door of the house and shoot to my hearts content. I haven't used them, but there are archery ranges not too far from my suburban home where I could practice if I wanted too. My situation isn't too bad.

Used to hunt Hunterton county..jutland.. amazing the huge bucks I used to see. That was years ago and if I had my Excalibur back then I'd have a trophy room that would have been unbelievable 😅

I can shoot 30 yards in my back yard comfortably and a 40-45 minute drive to my club to get 70 yards on the archery range. To hit 100+ yards I need to go with my uncle to a property about 40 minutes away.....I really do like Boo's yard the best! I've never shot at 100 yards as much as I have at Boo's.
