Hoping this guy strolls thru on September 14th, he’s rather “healthy” for a Georgia yogi.

Thanks guy’s, he’s definitely on the hit list if he happens by but mostly they’re just a nuisance here and keep the deer away at the most opportune time.

Good luck with the bear, you're exactly right about the bear keeping the deer away. I had that happen several years back when I had a nice 9 pt coming in several days a week until a bear came in and decided to stay for about a week hanging around my feeder before bow season came in. The 9 pt moved to another area of our property and luckily one of my friends killed him. I hope you get a chance at him.

Hmm, that may be what I'm seeing this summer. My trail cameras aren't picking up many deer at all, but I've got at least four bears roaming the woods and one of them is a whopper. Maybe they're hanging out close enough that the deer are keeping clear of my area.

Nice bear by the way. Good luck!

Wow, that’s a heckuva fine specimen for a southern bear! He must have access to some human-derived supplemental food source.

The increased black bear population here in the southeastern US is really starting to negatively impact fawn survival rates in places.
