Bow Hunter Education Course

Post by Stepnoutnb »

Well I’m 62, bow hunted with a compound a couple years way back in the 80’s unsuccessfully I might add. But belonged to an archery club with an indoor range and a beautiful outdoor range.
Although I’m grandfathered in for the bow license I’ve decided the smart thing to do was sign up for the Bowhunter Education course.
I’m sure I’ll pick up lots of great information.

If you have the time , not a bad idea . As long as the course is not anti-crossbow . Or the person teaching wanting to glorify all their successes .
Have heard of that for people taking the hunting course here .
Good luck :)

I went to high school with the fellow teaching the course. He’s a good guy. I’m too old and seasoned now to let someone beat me down from a high horse. :eusa-deadhorse: won’t happen on my watch.

I attended hunter safety course with grandsons, and always learn something new. good way to keep up to date on any changes in regulations.

Also while we're on the subject I saw some demeaning slurs on facebook from some members of "Matthews Brotherhood". just a matter of time before they will want help from all bowhunters to protect their sport. Think I'll not get their posts anymore.
