Mounted my newly acquired crossbones on the nightmare.
It has a clean reticle with drop points out to 60 yards, superb glass for my eye!!

Great glass and they weigh about HALF what a Hawke weighs! No, its not illuminated, but its bright enough that you aren't handicapped much if at all.

I keep looking at my Crossbones that looks lonely on the shelf. I might have to put it somewhere and put it to good use.
I doubt that I will ever sell it.

Norm, I look at the one on my bow and think,” I might upgrade”...... naawwww. Don’t think it gets any better till you get to a Leupold illuminated scope. Others can’t hang!

I had 2 and loved them until my eyesight got worse and I started not being able to see the hash marks in low light situations. When I first got one I took it outside 15 minutes or so after darkthirty and could still make out my deer target well enough to make a kill shot.
But alas, old age and aging eyes caught up so I sold both of them and got scopes with illumination. Great glass in the Leupolds though.
