You can buy a cell boost antenna for areas with poor reception.

If theft is an issue, this cam is still one of the least expensive options with or without cellular ability. There is a report stolen option in your app but it cannot help locate the cam for some reason even though it has a GPS in the unit to embed photos. Weird.

I suspect a later update will fix that.
Funny option tho, imagine your at work and a random notification comes across . "FYI your camera was just stolen, have a great day.".

No, you report it on your end. The cam will not know if someone stole it or if you just relocated it.

So how does it report stolen(obviously it reports to the email address not the cops) Doesn't it message you if move it without being turned off?

Chris, I was under the impression that Spypoint would shut down the cellular function when you hit the "report stolen" function. Do us both a favor and turn the function on and tell us what happens🤔

I believe you are correct Don, I got this message and did not proceed. Not sure where I got my bad info from.

I like how you can pay per Month and not a full year, which is great for people using it strickly during the hunting season. How much are these cam's Don?

I bought it when it was on sale for $169. They are now $199
$5 for 250 pics and $10 for 1,000 a month. I only have 3 deer showing up and in 16 days I have 208 pics. I'm using 2 shots per activation. A small percentage of the pics are ones I can't see a deer. Might be fog, sudden change is sun light or a deer too far for the flash.
