A420TD ARRA QUERIES

Post by amythntr »

....Well it looks like I am starting the game with the A360 as I have not made up arra's yet for the A420TD....in any event this is what I am planning to make:

1. 18 inch Zombies @ 9.1g/inch= 163.8g,

2. Lumenok in the caboose @ 29g,

3. 110g brass insert,

4. Silent Knight SK-200 fletching @ 5.4g/each x 3=16.2 g,

5. BH- this is where my query lies. I presently only shoot the Spitfire MAXX @ 100g....should I go with with the 125g?

6. Glue approx 2g

Total arra weight= 420g with the 100g Spits
or 445g with the 125g Spits.

I welcome your thoughts!

I would think you would be just fine with either choice.

I'm going the heavier route with the arrows for my A420. Jerry at South Shore is building me 6 pack of the "TAPP Punisher"'s
Going with 92g inserts and plan on topping them off with 150g Slick Tricks. Maybe switch to that big 150g Swhacker with the 3" cut for turkeys in the spring.

I would go heavy with a fast bow like that ....110 brass 125 point
Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix, sapphire, matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.
Trigger tecs, leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.
Zombie slayers and mostly swat broadheads.

Eighteen inches is stock and the same for the 440 as well. In the 440 it puts the broadhead in the broadhead pocket. I made some Zombies at 21" and it fits just right.

I agree, my friend just got a 420 and I set him up at 20" executioners. 18" allows for a whole boot in there. Too much going on with the assassin platform to not have an arrow kicked out by your toe on the dark

Anthony, I know you're far too aware how horrible it would be going to unload your bow and realizing you forgot to remove the arrow.....build your arrows longer fratello mio.

I believe Anthony uses the DrStirrup unit, so no problem with putting arrow through your foot. That's the best thing with it.
