No BD330 for me.

Post by BrotherRon »

One of my buddies sent me a text last night that his new BD330 arrived in the mail.
So I went over and helped him get is set up and ready to go.
I learned that I will not be purchasing a BD330 .....
With my thumb on the ADF button I am unable to reach the trigger and can't uncock it by myself.
I guess I will just stay with the 310

You can uncock it if you're using the new crank, or if you can hold it with the cocker between trigger release & ADF latch. You pop the trigger, let the string creep a bit, then press the ADF release without the string touching it, easy peasy! :eusa-popcorn:

A friend also bought one and I had a little trouble un cocking it but after a little practice it was not that hard . I have a short hand and had to do some stretching of the fingers. Dan is wright the charger crank works great.

I had to switch to using my middle finger to release the trigger instead of my index finger. Took a few times, but now it is second nature on my BD400. That is about the only thing I didn't like about the Bullpup design.

Yep, I had to think about it for a while because it's just like a reflex now but as long as you can hold the rope you can do it in 2 separate operations.

My Ten Point i had a cutoff arrow about six inchs long i would put in to decock the anti dryfire. Made the bow think their was an arrow in it. Decock and six inch arrow would fall to the ground when it came out from retaining spring. CHEERS!

Thinking about it, I hold the rope tight with my left hand, and then push the ADF with my thumb and use index or middle finger to pop the trigger.
I have small hands and it feels quite normal now.

Something eles that help more than you expect was setting my cocking rope to the correct length.

The one thaT come with the 330 was way long. I did not figure this out till i got the 360.

Huge difference!!!
