Stock
Greetings. I have an Exocet 200. I am considering getting a different stock. Would the newer style stocks, fit the Exocet? (like the ones on the Micro) If so, would it require any work to the stock, or the rail? Where, and from who, would I be able to get another stock? Cost? Thanks, J.

Re: Stock
I believe only the micro stock will fit it. That’s what I believe Danny Miller told me. No work needed other than tapping 2 new holes to attach the stock. Call Danny at (740) 483-2312. Good luck!

Re: Stock
The longer exo bows feel "awkward " with the short forearm on the micro stock. I've done it and it does not feel right.
A matrix to a 355 will do ok but any rail longer than that is getting off ballance.
Maby just my opinion but l have been around firearms my whole life and the balance thing is important even in a crossbow

I agree Joe! That’s why I went back to the original stock.longbow joe wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 3:44 pmThe longer exo bows feel "awkward " with the short forearm on the micro stock. I've done it and it does not feel right.

Re: Stock
I think this may be your best option a short stock on a long rail bow sounds like a balance issue , I do prefer the thumb hole so to speak on the Equinox or Vortex over the pistil grip it just alines the hand up for a more comfortable shooting position and i prefer it while just sitting also.

Re: Stock
Can you elaborate Brian, I'm curious. I'm not grasping what needs to be done to make them fit. If the matrix and micro stocks are interchangable aside from the front screw, why would one work and not the other?
I understand the older models had a swept forward lever but that's just a lever swap

Re: Stock
The rail needs to be cut out where the trigger extrudes. It needs more clearance for the new swept forward trigger that will be needed. If you just try a trigger finger switch it won’t work. The trigger won’t reset because there’s not enough travel space with the existing rail. Here’s a crude drawing.

Re: Stock
UPDATE: Thanks for the replies... Never would of thought about the balance issue, with using a shorter stock. Makes sense... As far as using the other 3 stocks, I would prefer NOT to have to alter the rail or trigger, by cutting any part of it... Guess I will just have to stay with the regular stock... The only, real downside with it is, carrying the exocett. I use a sling, but it is still awkward to carry for long distance hikes into my blinds... Thanks again everyone, J.
