Santa's Treasures

Post by IronNoggin »

So, what did the funny fat guy in the silly red suit bring this year??

In my case, it was the usual camo stuff, socks and a few other interesting items...

From my Brother, a ONE GALLON Flask (he knows I like the "odd nip")

Image

And a Tee Shirt I may well wear out!

Santa was extraordinarily kind!
A sweet little German made 22 LR / 22 WMR Convertible revolver!!

Hope He found you all to be in the Good Books too!!

Cheers,
Nog

In my case it was a WELCOMED LAY-OFF! Yes that's correct welcomed Lay-off. I'm turning 63 his spring, I'm burnt out and need a rest. My plans are to work a turnaround this fall, after that I'm going to drive my wife crazy lol. I have al these great hobbies of mine I haven't been able to enjoy over the last few years due to work commitments.
Semi-retirement I love the sound of it. Going to start to enjoy life before I end up in a pine box.

You can do it / you should do it. People say "you're too young to retire" then I say"you're too young to die as well" They get my point right off!

Cute pup Boo.

Santa brought a pellet grill from the wife and a trail camera and crossbow hard case from the kids. It's been a good year.

Good luck with the semi-retirement. I hope to be there in about five years, about ten years earlier that most folks say you should. But I'm hoping to enjoy the outdoors until I'm sick of it. Or at least try to.

Wayne, I planned to go out at 60, had my nearly fatal heart attack at 58. Tell the Lord your plans, you'll soon find out he has a sense of humor! Good luck Buddy! It's amazing how you find a way to make it work out!

Thanks, I've been having some stress related symptoms. Had everything checked out, all caused by stress. Moving on lol.
