The German silver anodized finish was matt.
The ATA interior lighting and camera flash altered the finish somewhat.

I bet “Aging” could fab a stock for you. Use your own Excal for it. Just a thought. Also, what scope is that? Just curious.

Chalk another one up to the Germans. Blackie contacted a German custom scope maker to fabricate this one off custom scope to compliment this beauty.flightattendant100 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 7:42 pmI bet “Aging” could fab a stock for you. This is not the first time I have seen a custom made one off German scope.

Norm, years ago when Premier Reticle was still in business, it was a pretty simple deal to get whatever you might want in the way of reticle, and in a Leupold scope it was a great combo. I had a couple of those over the years. Wish Premier was still around.Normous wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 7:47 pmChalk another one up to the Germans. Paul, I remember all your earlier posts regarding Premier's craftsmanship and excellent workmanship.
Awshucks and Danny M also spoke highly of them also back in the day.
Perhaps one day another start up company in the US might offer a similar service. Till then we have what we have.
On anothet note, the SRO IS AMAZING

A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

I tried looking at their website. Not the easiest to navigate, I would like to see all specs and ordering info. At least just for curiosity’s sake.janesy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 9:28 pmI was just looking it up. Hi,
Yes we have two really high quality shops here in germany. One is arrowinapple.de and the other is the armbrustmarkt.de.
Carsten from armbrustmarkt.de is the owner of the beauty Jeff has in his hands.
For target and long range shooting without an optimizer this scopes are perfect. With my Micro 355 i have shot 110yards with good results. With my 308 i have shot 100yards. But that's not the end, more would be possible with a smaller magnification. The magnification i use is between 4x and 5x.
The scope rectile is a german idea, but i bet or better i am sure they are made in china. They would be much more expensiv if they are "Made in Germany".

what information do you need? I can translate things for you as far as I can.flightattendant100 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 11:41 amI tried looking at their website. Not the easiest to navigate, I would like to see all specs and ordering info. At least just for curiosity’s sake.
The AIA tactical Scope has ten dots, like in the picture (i hope it works, first time that i make a upload here)
The weight is around 466g and it has a magnification 2-6×32 . With my Micro355 which makes around 320-325fps with my setup i have a magnification of 4,5 and i can aim with the dots 1-7 at 10-70m. That means Dot 1=10m, dot 2=20m, dot 3=30m....dot 7= 70m. After dot 7 i have to work with the magnification that dot 8 is at 80m. I have made some marks at my magnification ring so i can switch easy. It works like the Hawke scopes.
With my 308 i have to work with the magnification after 60m, if i want to hit at 70m with dot 7 i turn to the 6x magnification and it works. Today i will test it with my new BD 330.
The newer version the AIA 101-12 has twelve dots and is 3-9×42. It is more heavy ~614g. This scope works great on faster bows which can male 320-450fps. I have no experience with that scope. For me the AIA 100 tactical is enough.
The glass are good quality and they have the best rectile for crossbow i have ever seen.
The service from arrowinapple.de or armbrustmarkt.de is outstanding.
