Recommend Me A Replacement Scope for my Exocet 200

Post by joel0711 »

Please recommend me a scope to replace my Vari Zone scope. Works fine but I've really never got use to the triangles instead of crosshairs.THANKS----Greg

You can get them fairly cheap , the Redfield Revenge is a great scope for the 200# long limb models.

Now that Nikon ain’t making scopes anymore, the only scope to have is the Trijicon, the rest are junk.

Yessir, Nikon is no longer making scopes. If you wait, I bet some deals will be had later on.

On another note to Ferguson Outfitters,I recently added my first Trijicon optic to my crossbow and chose the SRO Relex Dot sight in 1 MOA
(dot covers 1 inch at 100y, 1/2" at 50y and 1/4" at 25y).

The large window SRO weighs in at 1.6 oz and promotes fast handing shots with both eyes open. Deer and Bear 2020 beware, Norm won't miss!

I like the fast sights and have decided on one for my turkey gun, however I won’t hunt deer without magnification. I hunt thick stuff and even though there’s a chance of still nipping sticks, I like my chances better with at least a 3 power scope.

I like a little magnification myself. I had to pass on an early morning buck with dot rifle a while back because there were antler restrictions and could not make it out.

I have been spoiled by Leupold and have a hard time recommending any other brand! Lol

those Leupold scopes spoil a lot of folks. Unless you buy German, most other scopes feels like they are quite a bite less scope.

So, Nikon is not making the crossbow scope or ALL scopes?

Yes it is, and the new P3 is the exact same scope with cheaper caps. For a quick shot with preset zoom it makes shots inside 40 yards a breeze. The glass on this Nikon may not be Leupold quality, but it pretty good for under $150. I have one of each.

The day Burris comes out with a compact crossbow scope is they day 4 Nikon's hit the trading post.

Sadly, sounds like that day is not on the horizon any time soon
