Sling

Post by Ankh »

Ideas on best sling to carry xbow on long hikes. Sping turkey season I have some good hikes to get off the beaten path in the Allegheny National Forest. Thanks for any suggestions.

I prefer the CLAW sling myself after owning many types.
The rubber material is mostly non slip.

While I don't own one yet there are a couple slings on the market with two straps and carry like a backpack.
This type would be suited for a more difficult terrain or long carry.

Hard to beat the claw . Dosnt seem to slip when walking as the others do.
Slings kind of annoy me but sometimes you just need one.

Thanks guys, love this forum. I will look into the backpack type for the terrain I'll be in. Please keep the suggestions coming.

x7 on the Claw. I have them on everything. My favorite model is the slimline. Its just over an inch wide. It gives me all the benefits of the regular claw slings at about 1/2 of the weight.
