Seems to be lots of turkey hunters.
Any great recipes to share.
I've mostly done the fried strips , rolled in crushed honey nut cherrios. Always easy and great tasting.

The next turkey I get will be turned in to Turkey Jerky!
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Never made Turkey jerky but l might try.
Goose jerky is delicious..like beef .but seems to turn greasy in a day or so...simply eat before the next day problem solved.

Re: Cooking your turkey
Too savor my turkey longer, I do the breasts in cubes in the pan greek style with pita bread, garlic sauce and garnish. Might do 3 batches of this with the 2 breasts.
I do the wings, legs and carcass confit in duck fat in a single batch and freeze some of the meat for later or do pasta casseroles right away.
I find this is the best way to enjoy the meat with the most amount of meals spaced out in time.

Re: Cooking your turkey
I have found the following easy and very pleasing to the pallet:
scaloppini the beast meat into 1/4" thick pieces
dip into a quick beer bath
bread with a 50/50 mix of Panko and Italian bread crumbs and some Montreal steak spice to taste
place into large fry pan with Becel oil pre heated but not so hot that burns
cook until golden on each side
remove from oil and place on paper towel to absorb excess oil
Enjoy!

Re: Cooking your turkey
Like A lot of wild game, the finished product will benefit from an added fat source (read bacon). I butterfly the breasts, stuff them and wrap them in prosciutto (scallopini style). For stuffing I use some cubed pancetta bacon, peppers, fennel, pine nuts etc.. sautéed beforehand.

Cut the breast in 1” cubes.
Marinate overnight in 1 cup soy sauce, 1 cup Sprite, half cup cooking oil.
Wrap each cube in a half strip of bacon.
Put them on kabobs with onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and fresh pineapple.
Cook on the grill until the bacon is done.
Your welcome!!! Lol
