Axiom

Post by Cardinalsfanforever »

just checked eBay, an Axiom I had bid $52 on a few days ago is up to $318 now with a day left. the one I bought was a little less and can't find scratch on it, or the 4 firebolts that came with it. he said it wasn't shot much. I put some reds on it and a Vixenmaster string, but the string is just barely (1/8") off the reds, is that about right ? I know the recommended brace height would put it on the reds. plan on getting some Zombies for it soon. gonna try the QAD Exodus125,s this year.

I shoot my exo bows 1/4 off the bumpers just like the matrix/micro way. Same platform as your bow.
I highly recommend the dr stirrup bumpers much more durable .l use about 3/16 with the dr stirrup they claim you can touch the string with them but l dont.
I shoot with catwhiskers and the limb silencers along with dr stirrup bumpers ...very quiet and forgiving bow to shoot.

What brand are the 4 limb dampeners you have? Dr Stirrups?
I have an Ibex might try em.
How did you decide to place them?
Thanx!

Pretty sure they are bow jax basically the same as excalibur brand .
They absolutely give the bow a more subtle "recoil" just feels better speed loss was 3 fps not worried about it.
The entire bow is very quiet. I believe the whiskers provide more silencing than the db bars did that l took off and made the bow much lighter too.
Most people jeer and poke about my catwhiskers but they are just the non tryers lol.
They recommend placing the silencers before the "hinge " of the limb. 4 probably is overkill but l like the feel of it.

Yes just camo krylon and rustoleum for plastic and a cardboard stencil With a matt clear overspray .
This combo holds up for a long time my vixen paint job is 6 years old and still pretty good
