Da Grizz knife

Post by hankenhunter »

In honor to Da Grizz, I've passed down my D2 spearpoint knife to my avid hunting son. He almost cried when I gave it to him along with a work sharp to keep the razor edge. Darrell, you may be gone, but you wont be forgotten. You made a hell of a knife. Rest well old son knowing your exellent work lives on.

On my short list of regrets, I was talking to DaGriz to have a knife made, but the dollar inflated beyond control and I mentally backburnered it. In hindsite the extra $100 was really not that much money.

I feel privilege to have a DaGriz work of art. Everyone that I have seen was different.

....I never met the man.... but I have met his knives....I took the plunge on two that were purchased from members on this forum!

....one has a Damascus blade which I love just to look at!

I am also honored to have purchased a knife from him. It's a beautiful Damascus blade. Should have bought a second one.

Yes his knives are unique! What was he charging for a knife when he was still able to make them? Has anybody sold one on here lately? Just curious.

.....one (a smaller knife) I bought from a member for $100 and the second, a larger impressive Damascus knife in beautiful condition with an excellent sheath I believe I paid $225 or $250.....I will part with neither!

Perhaps Doemaster could find some in the archives. I tried but couldn't go back far enough.
