Thanks for all the input. Tomorrow morning's plan is to decock into a deer with a 150 grain trailblazer. If all goes well I will update the trailblazer's performance ( they certainly are as accurate as my field points as are my swhackers, hopefully I'll have a damage report).
Micro 335 nightmare, Axiom
Swhacker 150 grain, zombie slayers
Wants: micro ultra lite, adj. stock, take down, good trigger, good scope , low 300 speed to keep "cockable" w/out crank

Your brain thinks its gonna rip your arm off.....but it never has any more force than when you cocked it to begin with.
Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix,sapphire,matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.
Trigger tecs,leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.

I think everyone that owns an Excalibur should at least try decocking it. It is much easier than you would think. In fact I will go as far as saying my Excaliburs are all easier to decock than they are to cock. I will say that all I have decocked are the Exos and Matrix lines. I have no experience with the others.

1 more little piece of info. I have the ext charger crank, so there's definitely not a hint of fear involved.

Last 3 years first sit of season I tagged out. This year was a record 1.5 hours in a tree and watched him drop 25 yards from shot. Hopefully next year I have to work at it.

I use the charger ext crank to cock it and uncock it .
