Gear tip deer cart

Post by gerald strine »

Make sure to check the tire pressure on the deer cart before you put it in the truck for the fall.
I got a reminder the hard way on my crawler cart.

You could always attach a bicycle hand pump to the cart----just in case!
I have a spare shaft collar, a spare tire, a spare innertube, a tire pressure gauge, and a hand pump on my cart, totally out of the way, but there if I should ever need them.

My Hawke cart tires were real low too at the end of Sept during my pre season checklist.

Having a newly purchased Milwaukee Compact Inflator M12
under the back seat makes for one less worry if needed at the right time.

My tires were flat too. I was a little surprised last year when it was the same. They must use cheap tubes or something.

I have to pump up my crawler cart tires every year. Same with my pier cart that I use in FL every year. Small tires apparently do not hold pressure very well.

Heres my tip. If you leave it in your driveway while loading the trailer. Your 5 year old firecracker of a daughter will jump on it. If the pins are not in the handles, the handle will fly back and hit her right in the nose.

Just checked my 4 wheel Hawke Crawler and the tires are very low. This has never carried an animal…just my ground blind and assorted gear at season’s close. Bringing my little compressor in from the garage to pump them up! Thanks for the tip!
