"If crossbows become legal in this state, we
will see so many people start using them that the archery season will be
shortened and the true archery hunter will fade away like a late October
sunset."

So in essence what he is saying is that crossbows are more ethical than longbows right? Otherwise why would so many folks switch to the crossbow, from the beloved vertical bow?
Git er done, and make sure it is done right!

What it is Boltejector and I say this not to offend anyone that may consider them self's old, is if they were to start using a crossbow they must be old and handycrapped :!:

Gary L.,
And you being from a state where crossbows have already ruined the archery season and put the poor little deers on the brink of extinction
All I can say is the guys who protest the loudest have the least knowledge of what crossbow hunting really is!!!!!!!
I see where Ohio set yet another record harvest year for deer, and are proposing increasing limits in several counties (mine included - yeah!) next year. If crossbows have ruined archery season, then why do harvest numbers keep increasing, hunter success rates keep increasing, and the deer population keeps increasing? Could it be those extra hunters are adding $$$$$$ to the state's rescources to manage the herd?

I voted FOR. I cant beleive folks wouldnt want to be able to use cross bows. Here in Arkansas we do,have and will use a bow of chioce. I also hunt deer with compounds, firearms of all types and am planning on getting a long bow from Bob Lee archery a.s.a.p. Some people you just got to whittle away at. Iam not handi capped either.
