Old bulldog...new tricks

So l decided to give the blown limb bulldog back to my brother for Christmas the other day he kinda said he missed it lol. His new replacement wasn't the same as the bullpup.
Dawn and excalibur hooked me up as usual as a quality company used to do in days past but they act that beloved way we used to take for granted.
I put a pro shot Trigger in the bugger and a big foot stirrup ..a Tyler special cheekpiece and we went with a Ten point range master pro lighted scope.
The final milling of the rail was done perfectly by a friend who wanted me to bring in a big bag of soft pretzels and mustard in as payment for the shop...lolol.
I twisted my foot last week and was sick as a dog last week with this disgusting flue /cold /covid ..miserable sickness so I literally worked on it all last week in little incriments
Finally today l feel better...a little better anyway and got to shoot it in the yard was almost dead on at 20 yards after 6 clicks.
I really like the scope also nice bright and simple uncomplicated luminous dots .
The 340ish poundage is still powerful and not a bastard to pull as the 380 was.
It was a fun project to do I'm sure he will love it.
His biggest complaint was that it was too hard to pull at 65 years old.
He has no idea that a cut down was possible I'm sure he will be surprised.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone be safe
Sickness free too this thing l had was nasty.
It's sopposed to be as cold here as in Canada...at Christmas feel free to have it back no hard feelings

It's supposed to be in the single digits down here even. Better throw another log on the fire and another dog on the bed!!
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming "Wow, What a Ride!
