Binoculars
Any recommendations for a hunting bino that runs around a hundred dollars or so. For where I'm at I don't anything expensive. I like some of the Vortex models but open to all advice. Thanks!

That's exactly what I carry. The Nikon Aculon A30. Its 10x25 and I prefer something nice and small for my pack. For the cost, it's hard to beat.

I went to Cabelas a few years back to but Nikon Binoculars and walked out with a pair from Bushnell that were very clear, gave them to the Kid, and got some compact Nikon model, both were under $100. and worked great in the woods.

Re: Binoculars
A young friend that hunts with me wanted a decent set of binoculars went to Cabelas and tried several and ended up buying the Cabelas Intensity HD 8X42 binoculars for about $150 and he loves them. Lightweight and the glass is impressive for cheap binoculars. I use Swarovski ELs and I was impressed by them also.
