Fourteen more eagles found butchered
VANCOUVER—Fourteen more eagles believed slaughtered for their talons and tail feathers have been found in North Vancouver. The discovery on the weekend comes less than a month after the remains of 26 other eagles were found.
In both cases, the birds' talons and tail feathers had been removed.
The Ministry of Land, Water and Air Protection said yesterday it is posting a $5,000 reward, bringing to $10,000 the total reward money being offered.
Under the province's Wildlife Act, penalties for poaching or trafficking in eagle parts can be as high as $50,000 for a first offence.
The initial discovery Feb. 2 was made by a woman who stumbled across several shallow graves. Officials said it was likely the birds' legs and feathers were sold on the black market, possibly illegally smuggled into the United States.

That is a real shame, the sad part is it will never be stopped no matter what they do. We as the guardians of nature can only try our best to watch over things of this evil doings.
The major problem is no one want's too get involved in turning some one like that in, as they fear the possibility of serious danger to their selfs and family.
If they get caught it will be by someone of their kind greedy for the reward. It will happen sooner or sorry to say Later

The ONLY way to curb it, if not eliminate it, is to make possesion of the parts illegal with stiff jail time. No exceptions, period. Any eagle parts out there would have to be turned in to authorities and destroyed. They can make excellent reproductions from turkey feathers & molded talons. I've had it with PC regs. I'd hate to catch someone doing that. I'd probably be in more trouoble that they, due to what I'd do to them
