I have a very good friend that had to gate his camp road because of littering and dumping. After the gate went up someone started leaving him a little gift by the gate daily, complete with toilet paper.
All my friend wanted was to be able to drive down his camp road without having to stop, get out of the truck, and pick up other people's garbage. He's in his mid 70's and he's worn out from years of driving trucks. It seems like these days it's a battle just to stay positive and not get drawn into something negative.
If I ever run into the idiot doin his business by the gate I'm positive he'll find somewhere else to take a crap.

Seems to me a strategically placed trail camera is in need here! Good luck to your friend, I hope he catches the bastard.
Indeed!!!
And then rubs his nose in the "mess" he made!!

Went to a public duck blind with friends that were first time duck hunters. Walked almost a mile in shallow water dragging decoys and carrying guns to get there. Set up and waited. Here comes a boat with 4 guys right after light. They cursed us out and shot one of our decoys. Then they put their boat about 50-yards from us. Every time ducks came in they would start shooting or yelling. We still got some ducks. They shot at our blind and we called the Game Warden on the cell phone. The Game Warden showed up and gave them a written warning and made them leave. A week later the Warden called us. He still had our # from our call. The same guys did this a few more times, but one group got it on video. That was enough evidence to charge them with hunter harassment and endangerment. Ironic since they were "hunters" harassing hunters. We were asked to give a deposition about our incident and we did. Recently heard they lost hunting license for 2-years, 1 year probation and $2500 fine. Like the original post - What the heck is wrong with people today?
" They are too stupid to even know they are stupid"

Unfortunately these incidents are not uncommon. Have also read about guys getting belligerent over fishing spots. I have come to the conclusion that there are many people on the water and in the woods that are borderline mentally ill.
If shot at I always shoot back.
Hope nothing like that ever happens to you again.

Brings back old memories!
Was casting for Shad from shore when a boat decided to anchor out in front of me which totally messed up my casting distance and shad dart drift, a whole darn river to fish and this moron has to be--well a moron!
I thought about going home and getting the boat and then anchoring about 20' behind him, and when he started bitching telling him that I was the guy on shore who he totally messed up , now how do you like it!
I post the HD video on FB and like clockwork, their neighbours ALWAYS message me and identify them by their vehicles. More often then not, they come pick it up.
So with that said, if you think you are on good terms with your neighbours. Chances are, you are not.
We got booted from a farm a few years ago, someone kept driving in the crop fields and we got blamed, hope you don’t Steve.
A local farmer gave me permission to hunt years ago. After initially introducing myself and several follow-up visits/conversations (my first meeting with him was not "can I hunt here"...started a relationship first), his wife was actually the one who offered & agreed. I simply asked for access in case one ran over onto their property from my adjacent parcel, and that's when "full access & hunting rights" were proffered.
The quote above is exactly why, when they gave me permission to hunt, that I asked for exclusive access. Not that I wasn't willing to share the harvest, but that I didn't want them questioning "who did what" if there were ever any shenanigans. He respected that philosophy and has been more that kind to me over the years. Of course, I reciprocate every year with a large basket of goodies (he doesn't drink, but I'm sure my scotch and other booze are regifted).
