Newbie from PA

Post by AFISHN »

Hi all.
This is my first post.
Been a bow hunter for 50 years and at 64 still hunt(deer and geese) and fish a whole bunch---and in very good health, thank the good Lord.

UnfortunatelyAfter 6 months of physical therapy for a slightly? torn rotator cuff,I still can't pull back my compound at only55#! :(

So yesterday I decided to stop worrying about whether I would be ready for the bow season and decided to buy a crossbow.

Spent 3 hours on this site the past 2 days and it has BEEN INCREDIBLY HELFUL!!! I will buy a xbow in the next 2-3 days and get ready for the season

Just wanted to say "hello" and thanks you all for your for the helpful posts.

Hi AFISHIN, we are neighbors...I live in Pottstown, PA...been on this forum for a few months and I learned a lot by reading the previous threads. There is a shop near us called Woody's...it's West of Reading...guy has some good prices and is an Excalibur dealer. I bought "the right stuff" package from him because he was the cheapest...he also has Beman and GT bolts as well. I spent too much money there, but it's well worth it...my Phoenix just arrived today. If you want to email me, I will tell you where I bought my Phoenix from...it's the cheapest place I have found and I always search and search for the lowest price. Here is my email if you want the information Aubienittany@yahoo.com
