Elite Qx-4 by Ten Point
Elite Qx-4 by Ten Point
I'm wondering if there are any other ten point users on this forum. I tried out the excaliburs but settled on the ten point because it seemed to feel more comfortable. It sure made my wallet a lot lighter to carry! If I'm not the only ten point owner I'd be interested in knowing which combinations prove successful ie, carbon vs aluminum, mechanicals vs broadheads, types of bolts and grains. Thanks for any input.

I shot a ten point Steath one season it was a great bow I just perfered the Exocet a touch better mainly because I could change strings and work on the crossbow myself no proshop needed. I shot two nice bucks with the ten point using 100gr NAP thunderheads and 2219 bolts they shot very well and did a number on those bucks. Those tenpoints sure have climbed in price lately. I paid around $700 for mine and it was top of the line then with Acc draw.
I have the Elite Lite. It shoots ProElite carbons with 100grain tips very well for me. I am trying out Spitfires this year. So far, I've been extremely pleased with TenPoint. Their instructional video is super simple to follow. Their accessories are tailored to their products. Can't go wrong with them. I'll let you know how those spitfires performed come October.

Hi Warpipe. I shoot the Tenpoint Titan. Just using 2219 aluminums and am happy with them, have never tried carbons. I use the peep and pins. I also have another Titan with a scope and accudraw that my boy is going to use for his first hunting season this fall. Definately looking forward to that!

With my TenPoint QX4 I shoot carbons, 100 grain Wasp SST Hammers, and Blazer vanes. Total weight of the arrows is 426 grains.

I'm shooting an Elite QX-4. I use the carbon arrows with 100grn NAP Spitfires (not just because it came with some). I have used them for years with great sucess.

i have the exact same xbow that you have and i had wished that i had got a excalibur instead. i shoot 2219 w/ various mech heads. the big prob that i have w/ 10 pt is the cocking device. it does not retract back into the stock. i have to mickey-mouse it just to stay quiet. i always have to be consious of it. i shoot 2219 b/c they were the only arrows that i could find w/ flat nocks..
