Looking for hunting partner

Since moving to my new place in late June of this year, I've yet to find a hunting partner that lives close by. I do have a friend that I hunt with here from time to time, but lives 1 1/2 hrs away, so I don't see him that often.

These days I'm out hunting about 2-3 times per week and have seen several does, a button buck, and a nice little 4 pointer.

I've hunted in small groups before where I used to live and prefer to have someone along, as this is more fun.

This is not a shot at using someone's land, as I have a little chunk of my own property to hunt with 2 stands set-up. I am quite content here as far as hunting grounds go, but would like to share the experience with a hunting buddy.

I visit a few other hunting forums, but this one has more class and ethics compared to others I've seen, which is why I'm posting here.

You sound like a great guy and I wish you were closer to me I also would like to find a hunting partner as I cant get around as good as I used to.

Jay u should think of moving closer to brokville

You might find more pertners for xbow hunting,you live in rifle country.Maybe this spring you and i can scout out some lease land.I have two other guys that are willing to get in one this. So on that note does any-one have any land for lease

Hey Rob(cuda45). I was thinking you should pack up the family and move to this area.

Maybe I'd see ya more often, and we could knock some deer down.

I don't know about leasing land. I'm know its getting more popular, but until I have to - I don't got enough money for that bro. And don't hi-jack my thread!!

Where is Perth anyway? I guess if I don't know it mustn't be anywhere near London. I agree that hunting with someone makes it more fun and you cover more territory too. Hope you find a hunting buddy. Take care.

Ex, Perth is about 1 hour west, or south-west of Ottawa. Come on up man, you only have about a 7-8 hour drive.

I agree, its more fun if you can share the experience.

That's a sweet offer J. I hunt in Kanata and Dunrobin with a couple of buddy's that have permission on private property but if I was closer to Perth I would love to hunt that area. I agree, it's nicer hunting with friends then alone. I'm sure you'll have lots of takers.
