Starting the kids out young!

Didn't get to hunt yet with the gun, but ended up visiting the camp with my 2 1/2 yr old son. He had a blast. We cooked some dogs on the fire and talked about hunting. How old was your son or daughter when you first took them in the field?

My oldest son started deer hunting with me this year, he is 7. Started bird hunting with me when he was a baby. This is him know. Note the body harness. In the picture itt has not been strapped to the tree yet and I always have to snug it up when we get to the tree.

I started my son shooting bow at 3 1/2 y/o , and he won his first 3-D shoot in the cub division at 4 1/2. He made his first kill a (BOAR) at 10 y/o
and passed his bow hunter saftey course in August . Now he has a jr. hunting license , and last saterday started using a self climbing tree stand
He realy loves the outdoors ,Hunting and fishing and has been taught to respect nature ,and saftey is always first !!
Yea I am pretty proud of him, and sure loved passing down all I was taught by my Father to another generation. I just wish all the youth in the world had the chance and opportuniity to get out and see how great the outdoor sports are. GREYWOLF

awesome pics guys, im only 18 but i remember my dad started me fishing when i was really small, about 3-4

i remember he used to take me "hunting" with my pellet gun for starlings and crows out on a friends farm.

once i got my licenses and whatnot we always go hunting,

rabbit, deer, bear, coyote, ducks geese,

great bonding times with my pops,

for all you starting your kids out young good move, because believe me we never forget those moments
