I am starting a xbow collection. New to this but I really enjoy the different xbows like this wolverine.

I am looking for a vixen to get my son for Christmas, or a ten point slider. I just missed on the slider on ebay.

Again Digger nice xbow. :)

Hey Digger, noticed you had a cocking aid on that new bow. Did you carve out a spot on the stock for that yourself?

Any downnside to doing this, aside from altering the original shape of the bow?

Reason why I'm asking is because I've thought about doing this on my Wolverine.

Yes I have filed a notch for a cocking aid on boththe Wolverines I have, it doesn't affect thr integraty of the xbow I have had a groove in one for over 5 years now and they work fine.
I used a fine rat tailed file, a groove 3/4 the depth of the string and a little deeper on the corners and the string won't jump or slide out of the groove.
