Got my technique worked out, and keeping this bad boy. After I shortened the rope, getting the string aid on the serving was a chore, but I got that figured out, too.
Can tell my back muscles will be growing, but that's a good thing. Thanks again to all the comments telling me to keep at it. Got my bow, got my BH's on the way, got my tags...c'mon 9/17!!

glad to hear it.they are a bear but the more you play the more you will like it i shoot the exomax and it's tough after a while but i love it.take care and good luck this season...

That's awesome! Treat cocking that bow like exercising at the gym. Start slow and work yourself up to cocking it and shooting it just as often as you want!
I guess I wasn't much different than you when I bought my first 200 lb bow and I recently surprised myself by cocking an Equinox!
