I've walked in/on mine a fair bit - lots of up and down hills up north. They are a bit stiff-feeling but not inflexible. So far they're holding up really well - with no visible wear on them (just some sock fuzzies )

Just bought a new pair of eBay for $90 shipped to me. Thought that was a fair deal. Hope they work as good as others have said they do!
