serving question

Post by supermagnum »

Guys i shoot and excalibur exocett 200 and have noticed that my serving has to grooves in it from the claws that lock/hold the string in place. These grooves feel pretty deep, this string has had about 70 shots on it should i be concerned. What signs should i look for that tell me it's time to replace the string/serving :?:

Reads like you need to smooth down your trigger claws with some super smooth sanding paper/cloth. If the serving is wore through to the string or looks close to being wore through to the string change it, get it re-served.

If you do not feel you can do the sanding job (smoothing the claws) send it to Dan Miller or back to Excalibur for a fix it job.
