Controlled Hunt?

just read the regs. It states bow season starts back up on the 8th in the unit I hunt. That is a Monday does that mean their is no hunting at all Sunday? I thought guns couldn't be used Sunday.

In some wmu's, Sunday gun hunting is allowed, that's why bow opens back up on the Monday when all the gun seasons are done.

it states the bow only season opens back up on the monday bows are permitted during any open gun season as well. as for sunday gun hunting my wmu has had it for over 20 years

To hunt with a bow on sunday, you have to have a controlled hun tag if your WMU is in the controlled hunt.

CONTROLLED HUNT

I hunt 89b, after the controlled hunt; I met a gun hunter on Sunday in the woods. He was hunting deer in a non-hunting section of 89b area .Wianfleet township allows Sunday hunting, but Haldimand township doesn't ! According to our C.O. s, each hunter should check the regulations in their area for specific details. Ray.
