New Browning A5

After a 4 month long wait,she has finally arrived. This thing is a true beauty to hold. Perfect balance and really light weight. It is the "Excalibur" of shotguns. Can't wait to haul this thing to Arkansas in November on my first guided duck hunt. With this gun being so new, none of the choke tube makers have tubes posted on their websites. One quick phone call to legendary choke tube maker, George Truloc, and my problem was over. He already has a full line of tubes for this gun but he has just been to busy to get them on his website. He is sending me 2 duck tubes and a turkey choke. I can sense the dreaded quivering of all the longbeards on my hunting property.

Yep! I got the New A5 as soon as it was available here!!!! Got mine in Infinity Camo.
Comes with three Chokes, but no Turkey or Duck chokes here! My New A5 is a Sweet Shooter! Love the Speed load!
I think Ken "unclefester" on here loves it to now he's seen mine!

Big john, Check out Trulockchokes.com to see their stuff. You can google them as well if you are interested in the quality of his product. Not a better made tube on the market,maybe some as good but none better. Really looking forward to running a few boxes through her to see how she shoots. Praying that she shoots where you point her. Mine is dressed in the max-4 camo. I'm not planning on shooting those big 3 1/2 shoulder busters but I'm glad I can if forced to do so.

I would agree with you about the A5 being a nice gun. I have an old Belgium Browning A5 too. It is still a reliable gun today but it's certainly nothing like the new A5 of today. I'm quite sure that my great grandkids will still be shooting both of them long after I'm gone from this earth.

I have one that was made in Belgium in 1951 that belonged to my grandfather. I didn't know they were being made again until I saw this thread. I just checked out the Browning website and I think I'm in love!

I fell in love with the new one after shooting one that my friend bought. He has the 3 inch gun but Browning is now making a 3 1/2. Like their advertisement says, "This ain't your grandpa's A5. It has the Benelli style inertia recoil system. That was a nice improvement.
