Arrows and the Micro 335....
What arrows come with the Micro 335 package? The Web sight show 16.5" arrows.... they just keep getting shorter...
Re: Arrows and the Micro 335....
That is the size that comes with the Micro, I have cut mine down to 15.5" and some other members have gone shorter.

Why go shorter? Just to be lighter? Seems like they would be harder to get to fly right with something like a fixed blade. I know some guys have tried their 18" "Matrix" arrows out of the Micro. Can anyone post an update?

....I am hoping to get out on Saturday AM (no hunting as we have dinner dance to go to)...planning on shooting the stock string and quills....
...if time permits will play with Boo Flemish and some arras I would like to create...ZS's, lumenoks or ignitors, just dont know yet and at what length....I have some split arra's so I will see....unfortunately, I live about an hour from a range so you can see the logistics....

Re: Arrows and the Micro 335....
i shoot my 18'' with 150gr heads. work great.
Re: Arrows and the Micro 335....
The arrows that come with the bow have aluminum inserts, and shoot well with 100 grain heads, and heavier. I cut some Zombie Slayers to 15", installed 92 grain brass inserts, and use 100 grain NAP Thunderheads, great out to 40 yards which is as far as I care to shoot while hunting deer. I'll stretch it out after the season, but really don't care after 40 yards. I hunt thick cover mostly, and 20 yards is normal distance for me. The reason for the shorter arrows is to allow me room to hang my loaded Micro on my bow hanger in the stand without bumping the broadheads. I'm very happy with this set up!
Good luck, hope you enjoy the bow!

I'm still shooting the stock quills as of now but I'm going to try either 15" or 15.5" zombie slayers made up by xcaliber. Well as soon as I get my wife to share in the excitement of buying new arrows. I'm also gonna add one of his Flemish strings!
Micro 335,Nikon Bolt, Xcaliber(Dan) strings and 15.5 Zombie Slayers!!

....let her pick out the colors....nothing wrong with pink, purple, chartreuse...the deer don't care!

BTW...I shoot pink and white fletching with purple, silver, gold and black wraps...makes for easier finding of arrows...and my daughter loves them!
