Black Eagle Arrows .001 vs .003 ?
Planning to buy 18" BE Executioner. Should I buy .001 or .003 ? What do you buy? and can you tell any difference in accuracy?

For normal crossbow hunting ranges choose the .003 and if you are seeking the BEST possible target accuracy from 75 to 125 yards I suggest the .001.

I would choose the .003 and spend my money on tighter matched deflection, I get between 1/2" and 5/8" groups @ 50 yards using .003 straight arrows,,, like Normous said, unless you plan on 100 yards or more target shooting, then you will still need the highest level of deflection matching to get better accuracy than good ,003 arrows will give you.

I have been reading about spine and matching but am still a novice at arrow matching. Can you guide me to an article explaining what you mean? Most of what I read is regarding upright bows, not crossbow. Or just explain what you mean by matching deflection. Thanks for your help.wildcatter wrote:I would choose the .003 and spend my money on tighter matched deflection, I get between 1/2" and 5/8" groups @ 50 yards using .003 straight arrows,,, like Normous said, unless you plan on 100 yards or more target shooting, then you will still need the highest level of deflection matching to get better accuracy than good ,003 arrows will give you.
