Fear or to fear not? splinter or what?
Okay, found this little jewel on my Micro's right limb near the bottom. Pic is upside down.
Is this a dreaded cracking of the limb, a splinter or what?
If you gently lift this up, the color on the back side of the loose piece is white.
Could it simply be the camo coming off?
Bow has NEVER been dry fired, dropped or abused.
Should I contact Excal's Warranty folks? Or simply re-glue this tag end and keep hunting until the season ends, then seek a replacement?
Thoughts, comments, answers?

I would finish the season for sure a small splinter is not a huge deal and does not mean the limb is going to fail your limbs are made of thousands of fiberglass strands bonded together and a splinter can happen I had a splinter on my Equinox sniped it off sanded it and hunted about another 6 years before selling it and I am sure it is still going strong.
Hunt eat sleep repeat.

Start an RMA, send them that pic ask them to send the the limbs only. In the mean time keep shooting.

That’s where all the pressure is on the limb, at the pocket. Personally I would send pictures to get a warranty started to get a new set of limbs. It’s not worth the chance of more severe damage if it does break to me! That’s why I always have a backup bow. Good luck!

That's a relief! I've got a date with a huge 10 point set for Saturday morning on the 16th of November. That was my Mom's birthday and I've taken some good bucks on that day over the years.gerald strine wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2019 9:25 amI would finish the season for sure a small splinter is not a huge deal and does not mean the limb is going to fail your limbs are made of thousands of fiberglass strands bonded together and a splinter can happen I had a splinter on my Equinox sniped it off sanded it and hunted about another 6 years before selling it and I am sure it is still going strong.
Thanks for the advice.

If you are speaking of that tiny sliver on top of the yellow I would just pop it off and go hunting.
