Assembly of your Assassin crossbow is easy. With only a single main bolt and a few additional screws you can easily assemble your Assassin crossbow with the tools included. Remember, Excalibur crossbows can be taken down for storage and transportation the same way as it is assembled. Cocking the Assassin Crossbow
The Assassin’s new Charger cranking system takes away the difficulty of cocking the recurve limbs, reducing the cocking effort to a mere 12lbs. This ensures anyone can easily cock and shoot the Assassin crossbow. We encourage you to watch the Cocking Video ensuring you know how to properly cock your Assassin crossbow.
SPECIAL NOTE: SHOULD YOU FIND THAT YOU HAVE COCKED YOUR ASSASSIN ON THE ANTI-DRY-FIRE (ADF) SIMPLY FOLLOW THE DECOCKING PROCEDURE AND PUSH THE SLIDING CATCH TOWARDS THE STRING UNTIL THE STRING CATCH ENGAGES THE STRING AND COCK YOUR CROSSBOW AGAIN.
Decocking the Assassin Crossbow
The Assassin crossbow is the first crossbow with an internal crank system that you can easily and safely decock with no need to shoot an arrow at the end of the day. Using your Fail-Safe Strap TM ensures the handle will never get away from you, maintaining control throughout the entire decocking procedure. Adjusting Brace Height or Changing your String
In line with all other Excalibur crossbows, you can easily adjust your Brace Height or Change your String in the field using our Crossbow String. This video will show you how to do that.
Release Sliding Catch from String
The easiest way to release the Sliding Catch from the crossbow string is too shoot it. Should this not be possible this video will show you how to manually release the Sliding Catch from the String.
