STS's do they help limit damage on dry fires ?

They assist in dampening the sound of the string vibrating. I have read that they also assist in dry fires but hope I never get to know for sure! Nice work, saw these in the local proshop and they wanted $70.00.

I learn the sts helps in dry fires the hard way!

They are close right now and have some adjustability, the bumpers are similar to the sts bumpers
