Perhaps you are maxing out the scale and getting a gibberish reading ?

Re: new digital scale question
I use a RCBS single beam powder scale that I used to use for reloading at one time.
I also bought a cheap digital scale, but unfortuantely it does not weigh in grains.
It now gets used in the spam.

Re: new digital scale question
I figured out after my last post you were using two alum inserts. I made up 3 Easton power bolts the other day with 100gr brass inserts that came up to 344gr and i figure they would be good even with 75 or 90 gr broadhead up to 150 but 100 is the lowest i will go if i keep them.I just like to play with different set ups when i can.munch wrote:thought i better check the arrow i did was with a 125 tip blazers 7"wrap lots of glue and 2 -42 grain alum inserts for a total of 456gr.i did turn down some brass on my lathe one time and made some real front heavy inserts .wonder how a 3" long brass insert would make them fly sure could get some foconebigskittle wrote:Must not be munch...im shooting easton power bolts with alum inserts also
