Re: Itching
I love my Matrix 355 and it's served me very well and with total reliability... I must admit that at this time I'm very close to changing it's rail to one from a 380 to see what it's like and if I can handle the draw weight. So, at this point I can offer no opinion on a 380 yet.
As too a reverse limbed bow of any manfacture, No way in the world could I see myself carrying something so heavy, large and awkward looking thru the woods no matter how well or fast it shoots. But that's just Me....I'm into simple, reliable, light and fast .
The two Excalibur models you listed above will give you all of that.

Re: Itching
The VTEC is extremely heavy I like the fact it shoots 440 fps I shoot a 460 grain arrow out of the two bows I have . I like to use the same arrows for my setups I'm thinking about cutting my arrows down to 18 inches I use 2219 , I'd like to try an get a few more fps . I just like to tinker an buy hunting gear lol I don't shoot past 30 yards an I have a range finder so judging distance isn't a problem an I guess speed isn't really needed just fun to have lol
