Used 4 different types of bolts and two different weight field points, 100 grain and 150. I don't think the string is stock but I'm not 100% sure.
First up were the aluminum 2219.
504 grain - 251fps
455 grain - 259 fps
Maxima Carbon Express
431 grain - 263 fps
382 grain - 272 fps
Excel Firebolt
421 grain - 265 fps (I might have mis weighed this one)
378 grain - 274 fps
Kodabow Magnum
458.5 grain - 258 fps
408.5 grain - 267 fps
I was wanting to put the Zeiss X-bow scope on it but the slowest speed on the power ring for this scope is 270 fps. Do y'all think I'm close enough shooting the heavier bolts? I kinda want to use the heavier bolts because I have bolt cutter broad heads.
If not, how can I get a little more juice out of it?
Or should I just go with another scope? Maybe the Leopold or the Hawke?

Where can I find such and still use the 150 grain field tips?
I thought I had stock arrows with the bow but nothing I have is that light. Wait, I may have one more fire bolt to try.

Everything I have now is 20".ArcheryAddict wrote:The Easton arrows (fire bolt,Diablo, quill) are actually pretty heavy grain per inch wise. They weight 10.5grs per inch you can get down to 375-385 with a lot of different arrows (zombies, executioners,gt ballistics) while still useing a 150gr point as long as you use a aluminum insert. How long are your arrows?
Those other firebolts may have an aluminum insert. I'll weight them when I get home.

I'm shooting 18" BEA ZombieSlayers with 100 gr points out of my Vixen. It does well for me.
