Wicked Ridge woes

Post by gerald strine »

I asked a fellow hunter if he was ready for the Oct 1st opener and he shook his head and said I am Scre#@^.
He bought a wicked Ridge compact cam X bow last year late and only had the 20 yard mark diled in .
Went to sight in last week and the cam string broke with less than 40 shots on the bow total.
Never dry fired , no apparent reason .
He has been trying to reach customer service and has not been able to talk to anyone and has not had his messages replied to all week.
That was the biggest selling point for me to buy an Excalibur , the fact that I can fix most issues from home and Excalibur's Customer service is excellent.

Same here. Wanted something that would keep me in the woods and not at a bow shop waiting for repairs.

They all break. Every single one of them. That's a shame, I hope he gets back in the game quickly

I tried to sell him on the recurve idea and he was fighting it.
He has a older x bow that the Wicked ridge was replacing
So he could get out but he can not find the cocking rope for it and the one that blew up had a crank.
I offered him my cocking rope for the weekend but he did not take me up on it.
Seams like he is taking the whole thing as a bad omen or something .

Have him post over on Ten Point's web site and maybe he'll get a response right away.
