decocking supressor 400td
With the charger ext crank, how difficult is it to decock the excalibur 400 td crossbow? That's quite a bit of weight

It's a big deal. You're right, it is a lot of force but I find it easily manageable. Just make sure you use the wrist strap and you'll be good.

The 400TD does store more energy, but its not a huge amount more than the other Micro bows. I don't find it much tougher to decock my 400TD than I do decocking the 340TD with the crank. The felt weight is negligible in both cases and its the same process.

As a side note to always wear the wrist strap attached properly to the crank handle and wrist .
I would say it is equally important to keep an eye on and inspect the Crank's cocking rope for wear and tear. If you neglect to do so then I would suggest you keep a extra pair up underwear close at hand .

Hold on tight and use the wrist strap. The first time its got some pucker factor. After that you'll be a pro at it.
